Chlorine-Free Sun Shock will keep up to 22,000 gallons of swimming pool water crystal clear.  It appears to work like magic, but it’s only simple chemistry. Algae doesn’t grow in copper mineralized water. (You’ll need two units if your pool is larger than 22,000 gallons). Copper and silver ions in your pool means clean sparkling water…and you don’t have to buy large quantities of expensive chlorine.

Slowly, these copper, silver, and other minerals separate from the coil and flow out into your pool. Algae cannot grow in copper mineralized water. (The basket catches loose particles that fall off the copper anode during the natural ionization process.)
