What’s the difference between Stick Up Cam Battery, and Stick Up Cam Plug-In?
The main difference between Stick Up Cam Battery and Stick Up Cam Plug-In is how they receive power.
Stick Up Cam Battery is powered by the Quick-Release Battery Pack. Or you can connect it to a Solar Panel (sold separately) to keep your camera charged with direct sunlight.
Stick Up Cam Plug-In is powered by an AC adapter that plugs into standard power outlets.
How does the ceiling mount work?
The Mount for Stick Up Cam adds even more flexibility to your Stick Up Cam Battery, Stick Up Cam Plug-In and Stick Up Cam Solar. It allows you to mount your Stick Up Cam upside-down on ceilings and eaves.
Does Stick Up Cam save my videos and photos so I can view them later?
If you have a subscription to Ring Protect, videos captured by your Stick Up Cam will be saved to your Ring account for up to 60 days. You can also download your videos to save them for longer than 60 days. Photos captured will be saved to your Ring account for up to 14 days. Every Stick Up Cam comes with a free 30-day trial of Ring Protect Basic. (Note: If you have a Protect Plus subscription for the location where you’re installing your new Stick Up Cam, it will automatically be covered by your subscription.) You can choose to enroll in a paid subscription of Ring Protect at any time. If you enroll during the free trial, you won’t be charged until the trial ends.
