Who should use a water flosser?

Anyone ages 6+ can benefit from using the Waterpik water flosser daily to remove plaque and debris where brushing and string floss can’t reach. 

When should I use the water flosser?

We recommend using your water flosser prior to toothbrushing. Removing food and debris enhances the effectiveness of both toothbrushing and toothpaste.

How long does it take to water floss?

It takes about 1 minute per day to use the Waterpik water flosser.

Can I use solutions such as mouthwash in my water flosser?

Yes, you can add mouthwash, dentist-recommended therapeutic mouth rinses, or hydrogen peroxide (3% solution).

We recommend using no more than a 1:1 ratio of additive to warm water. After using additives, run at least one-half reservoir of plain water through the unit to flush the water pathway. Failure to rinse the unit may result in loss of product performance or function.

Please do not use iodine, baking soda, salt/saline (cordless handheld units), or water insoluble concentrated essential oils (such as tea tree oil) in the reservoir. Use of these additives can reduce product performance and will shorten the life of the product.

What about braces?

A fast, easy, and effective way to remove plaque around braces and orthodontic appliances is to use the Waterpik water flosser, especially with the Orthodontic tip.

The Ultra Plus water flosser is electric powered, global voltage 100 – 240VAC, 60/50Hz. 

You can charge the Cordless Enhance 3000 using the included USB-C to USB-A cable from any USB Type-A plug (5.0V DC, up to 3.0 A), including a laptop, power brick, car charger, or wall adapter (wall adapter not included).

Can these products be used in the shower?

The Cordless Enhance 3000 water flosser is waterproof and can be used in the shower.
