trunature® Prostate Plus Health Complex, 250 Softgels

Take one softgel per day of trunature® Prostate Plus Health Complex to help support a healthy prostate. These selected ingredients include saw palmetto, zinc, selenium, pumpkin seed, lycopene, and cranberry for the support you need.

The prostate is part of the male reproductive system and is located just in front of the bladder. The urethra, which carries urine out of the body, goes through the prostate. The prostate is responsible for providing some of the protective fluid during the male reproductive process. The normal size of the prostate is often described as walnut or chestnut sized.
Maintaining a healthy prostate is vital to keeping the male body functioning normally. Therefore, it is critical for men of all ages to have regular check-ups with their physicians or health care professionals and seek medical attention immediately if any changes in normal functioning are noted.

Saw Palmetto, Lycopene, and Pumpkin Seed are ingredients that contain phytonutrients and fatty acids that may help to support prostate function.

Saw Palmetto — the berries of the plant are used in this formulation.

Lycopene — is a non-provitamin A carotenoid with antioxidant activity.

Pumpkin Seeds — are a source of vitamins, such as E, A and B; Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, as well as certain minerals and other important nutrients.

• Cranberry in this formulation is a patented ingredient for use as a dietary supplement.

• Zinc and selenium are important minerals for health.

Saw Palmetto — is a palm-like plant that is not contained in other foods. However, in addition to dietary supplements, the berries can be obtained in a ground or dried form. Teas or infusions are also available.

Zinc — is found in foods, some of which include oysters, crab, lobster, chuck beef, dark and white meat chicken (higher in dark than in white meat), baked beans, chickpeas and yogurt, as well as fortified foods.

Selenium — is found in several plant foods but the amount contained in those foods is dependent on how rich in selenium the soil was where those foods were grown. Fish, red meat, turkey and chicken, liver, cottage cheese are just some of the foods that contain selenium but other sources are also available.

Pumpkin Seeds — can be purchased and eaten as the seeds themselves.

Cranberry — food products containing cranberry are readily available including, dried cranberries, cranberry sauce, or juices.

• Lycopene — tomatoes and tomato products are a source of lycopene. It can also be found in watermelon, pink grapefruit, apricots and pink guavas.
