Safes built with small, cheap optical sensors often include keypads for backup access when the sensors won’t work. That’s not how we build Verifi Smart Safes. Our safes utilize the same large area, capacitive fingerprint sensing technology used by the United States government.
The superior TouchChip TCS1 silicon fingerprint sensor has been tested and certified by the FBI to meet the Next Generation Identification (NGI) standard for fingerprint image quality.It's large because it must be; a smaller sensor wouldn’t provide the quality fingerprint images needed to properly secure your firearms, prescription medications or other valuable items.

TheTouchChip TCS1sensor in all Verifi Smart Safes reads fingerprints at a high resolution of 508 dpi. This helps to capture more of the minute details in a fingerprint and enhances the performance of the recognition system.
3D Superiority
3D capacitive sensors work below the surface of the skin to give the best fingerprint image, even when reading worn, dirty or delicate fingerprints.
Liveness Detection
Unlike optical sensors that can be fooled by a photocopy of an original fingerprint, anti-spoof capacitive sensors interact with living tissue to detect the features of a fingerprint.
Self Diagnostics
At least once a day and after every use, Verifi Smart Safes perform a thorough self-diagnostic test on their electronics and batteries to ensure they're ready for use.
Access & Event Logs
Access logs show which users opened/closed the safe and when.
Event logs show previous alerts, alarms, diagnostic results, etc.
The last 1,000 logs of each type (access or event) are stored and viewable only by a registered admin.

Open Door Alert
Leaving your safe’s door open could have disastrous consequences, especially if a firearm is stored inside and made easily accessible to a child. Our Verifi Smart Safe has you covered.Sensors in the door detect if it remains openand will trigger an audible alert in such an event.
Tamper Alerts
House guests, kids or even maids may be interested in trying their fingerprint on your Verifi Smart Safe. Any such attempt triggers a tamper alert so you're kept informed of what happens when you’re not around.
Backup Key Access Alert
High-security cross-cut keys are included for backup access through a key slot hidden behind the logo plate. If a key is used, your Verifi Smart Safe logs an alert so you'll know when it happened.
Reset Attempt Alert
Many safes are vulnerable to a “reset attack." This is when someone presses an internal reset button from the outside of the safe. Verifi Smart Safes reject these attacks and can onlybe reset with a fingerprint from a registered admin.
Automatic Locking Door
How can you be sure your Verifi Smart Safe is locked? Just close the door.With AutoLock, if the door is closed, it's locked.It’s as simple as that.
Note: AutoLock is enabled by default but can be turned off in the settings menu.

Adjustable Lighting with Nite-Lite+
Engineering interior lighting that won't drain your batteries is not an easy feat- but we've done it! Verifi Smart Safes feature an LED lighting system that can be varied in intensity and duration without significantly impacting battery life.
When set to Nite-Lite+ intensity, the LED will provide just enough soft, indirect light to illuminate your safe’s contents without causing night blindness, which can be dangerous in a middle-of-the-night emergency. But if your find yourself needing more light, just hold the start button on the front of the safe and release it when it has reach your desired intensity.

Tamper Alerts: Curious kids or house guests? Tamper alerts keep you informed about unauthorized attempts, backup key access, and failed reset attempts. The Smart.Safe. will notify you of any tampering and log those events with a timestamp.
Self Diagnsotics: The Smart.Safe has its own health monitor. After each use a thorough self-diagnostic is performed. Results along with the battery power remaining are shown to you on the LCD screen. Even when asleep, the Smart.Safe. regularly performs an automated self-check and alerts you immediately if anything is wrong.
AutoLock: If the door is closed, the door is locked. Most safes burden you with remembering to lockup after every use. A common mistake is to close the door and forget to lock it. The Verifi Smart.Safe. employs a unique feature that senses when the door is closed and automatically locks the safe for you.
Nite-Light: When opening the safe a low intensity nite-light softly illuminates the interior of the safe, without blinding you. Within the Verifi Smart.Safe. settings, you can control the duration of light or even turn it off if you wish for a stealthy operation.
