QUALITY CONTROL
WireLogic checks the quality ofeachHDMI cable with 100% quality control testing. While many other manufacturers use random testing, WireLogic tests every single cable to ensure the product is of the highest quality- In this way, errors between the source and your display (TV) are minimized. All WireLogic cables are run through a Bit Error Rate (BER) machine to ensure that the amount of data going in is equal and identical to the amount of data being transmitted to the other end of the cable.
PRECISE TERMINATION
A precise machine process is used to terminate the 19 conductors in the cable. This ensures the connection is more durable and less prone to failure due to a bad solder joint. Other manufacturers use messy, hand-soldered terminations. WireLogics’ precise machine process and strain relief clamp help prevent the conductors from pulling away from terminations as the cable is twisted and turned in real-world applications.
DIRECTIONALITY
Wirelogic tests HDMI cables offer optimal audio and video performance by determining the correct direction of the cable’s conductors. Proper conductor directionality makes the best audio performance a certainty.
All drawn metal strands or conductors are non-symmetrical, and therefore have a directional grain structure. WireLogic controls the resulting change in RF impedance so that noise is drained away from where it will cause the most distortion. The cable will function and provide signal in both directions, but the signal is optimized when high-frequency noise is directed away from the most vulnerable A/V components, this is why arrows label each of the terminated ends.
SOLID COPPER CONDUCTORS
WireLogic uses high-quality solid, long-grain copper with fewer impurities than other cable manufacturers. Impurities in lesser-grade copper impede signal transmission by creating an uneven surface for the signal to travel. WireLogic’s Solid Long-Grain Copper Conductors offer a smoother signal transmission than stranded conductors, effectively eliminating strand interaction noise for better sound and picture.
FULL METAL SHIELD WITH STRESS RELIEF
Many cable manufacturer use a foil shield to reduce RF noise; while much less expensive, this process is not adequate when it comes to blocking RF noise. WireLogic uses a full metal shield with a strain relief clamp. This not only significantly reduces RF interference but results in a more durable plug design, protecting it from being pulled and losing connection.
